The world’s largest fast bowling community, Pace Journal, today unravels its official brand slogan, ‘Feel The Speed’ with an epic, hand-drawn animated video of the legendary fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar.

Words From Our Founder, Shahbaz Choudhry:

“We take our brand assets very seriously. Every piece of content that we publish is put through a very stringent quality control process from concept and design to distribution.

Sometimes, our high standards approach has restricted the amount of content that we have actually pushed out. Still, we stand firm in our attempts to produce the most visually compelling content in and around cricket and fast bowling.

Subsequently, it has become an expectation of our audience. There is an incredible amount of content (and noise) on the web, but when Pace Journal publishes something, we are told that it just ‘feels’ different.

And that is precisely why we chose, “feel the speed” as an official slogan to accurately reflect the persona of our brand.

With every piece of content that we publish, we want our audience to ‘feel’ it.

When a fast bowler is on song, you can feel that something special is in the air. With every stride, every leap and every slam of the bowling foot, the feelings of excitement, entertainment and fear are hard to ignore.

The purpose of our content is to celebrate all aspects of fast bowling as a skill and a culture.”

The animated video is a short but powerful compilation of creativity and fast bowling at its finest.

Inspired by the bouncer that Akhtar delivered to Shane Watson in the 2002 clash between Pakistan and Australia at the Gabba, we hope viewers will enjoy (and feel) the speed through this epic work of art.
